Landlord-tenant
We represent landlords in matters that involve habitability issues, wrongful eviction, breach of contract claims, analysis of state and local rent ordinances including those of San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley, housing ordinances and building codes, access issues that implicate state and federal disability statute, as well as complex insurance coverage questions.
Construction Defect
We represent general contractors and subcontractors working with stucco and siding, roofing, windows and doors, foundations, waterproofing, framing, and HVAC, among others. We are versed in the complex interrelation of contractual indemnity claims involved in such disputes.
Products Liability and Toxic Tort Claims
We represent manufacturers, distributors, retailers, installers, and service providers in cases ranging from allegations of defective products to mold and asbestos-related injury claims.
Federal Copyright Claims
We defend business owners and entities in federal copyright infringement actions.
